General Terms and Conditions

By applying for the ApplyingToSchool.com scholarship, you agree to these terms:

• You must be a current high school student to be eligible for high school only scholarships. For college only scholarships, you must hold a high school diploma or GED and be a current college student or plan to enroll in college within the next 12 months. See eligibility requirements for each scholarship for more details.

• You must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident to be considered for our scholarship awards.

• All contact information must be accurate and up to date, including your mailing address so that we can send you paperwork to complete if you are selected as a scholarship recipient.

• To be awarded a scholarship (except for the ATS Travel Scholarship), recipient must enroll at an accredited college or university located in the United States. Scholarships proceeds will be remitted to that school, not to you directly.

• You may apply for more than one scholarship, and you only need to complete one profile to do so. Entering additional profiles will not increase your chances of being selected.

• By applying for a scholarship, applicant grants ATS permission to post their name on ApplyingToSchool.com and/or to contact them via phone, e-mail, or regular mail for scholarship recipients.

• Scholarship recipients will be required to give us a release that gives us permission to use their name on our web site and in our marketing materials.

• Our scholarship selection committee has the right to verify any and all information provided by any and all scholarship recipients. Scholarship proceeds will be paid directly to the college or university.

• Our scholarship selection committee has the ultimate decision in awarding any scholarship to recipients.

• We reserve the right to change our scholarship programs at any time, including but not limited to scholarships that are available, requirements, amount, and deadlines.

• We value privacy and therefore will never sell, lease, rent or share your information with out side companies except to colleges. Our privacy policy also applies to our scholarships.

• Scholarship recipients will be notified three weeks after the scholarship application deadlines.

• Please remember that the scholarship awards will go directly to the college or university that the student will be attending.
